Whatever your products’ unique physical and/or mechanical properties may be, Vidon offers a customized nylon formulation to meet your exact requirements in strength, flexibility, color, and/or environmental performance.
Extruded Nylon Grades at Vidon Plastics:
- PA 6 – Excellent toughness, impact resistance, and good chemical resistance, ideal for many types of general mechanical parts.
- PA 6/6 – Higher tensile strength and stiffness than Nylon 6, with improved thermal and wear resistance for higher-performance mechanical parts and/or structural applications.
- PA 101 – A natural, unfilled grade of Nylon 6/6 known for its high mechanical strength, good wear resistance, and FDA compliance for food-grade applications.
- PA 6/12 – Reduced moisture absorption and better dimensional stability compared to Nylon 6/6, with good flexibility and chemical resistance.
- PA 12 – Even better moisture resistance and flexibility than PA 6/12, as well as lower water absorption and better dimensional stability, at the expense of structural strength/stiffness.
Co-Extrusion and Multi-Material Capabilities
Vidon’s co-extrusion capabilities allow for the integration of rigid and flexible nylon in a single profile, combining structural integrity with soft-touch sealing or gripping features. These combined material advantages expand your product possibilities, improving both fitment and functional performance.
